All Act Out members of staff have undergone an enhanced DBS Check and hold a current, enhanced DBS Certificate. Our staff are fully insured and our Health and Safety & Safeguarding Leads have taken 12-hour Paediatric Health & Safety Course (as per OFSTED & EYFS Requirements).

Rosie trained in Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She work as a professional actor in a range of projects from Shakespeare to musical theatre. She is the director & founder of East London Shakespeare Festival.

She loves working with young people, and as well as teaching at Act Out, she facilitates pre-school music & movement classes for Movers and Shakers, and runs an educational theatre company, UpFront Theatre Company.

Isabella Vaughan

Isabella completed a BA (hons) degree in Acting from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA).

Her credits include a 5 month Children's Theatre tour in Italy  to working with a prestigious all-female Shakespeare company. A recent short film she did was featured on

Rhianna Goodwin

Wicked Crew / Dance Teacher - Tue After-school

Rhianna completed her training in Musical Theatre at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Rhianna is a skilled dancer, singer and actress as well as playing multiple instruments. She’s extremely passionate about musical theatre and has just finished working on a workshop for a brand new musical. She can’t wait to start teaching the lovely students at Act-Out.

Jenny Burwood

Wicked Crew / Dance / Singing Teacher - Saturday school

With 6 years of teaching experience in all genres of dance, Jenny graduated in 2021 with a 1st class honours degree in Musical Theatre from London Studio Centre. Having started dance, singing and acting at the age of three, she has performed in numerous pantomimes, showcases, competitions, Move It and Can You Dance events across the country whilst also training at LIPA and Tap Attack. 

Assistants & Helpers

Registration, Admin and The Kitchen is run by Isabella Vaughan. She is fully trained, holds a Food Hygiene Certificate and DBS Check.

We comply with NSPCC's Recommended adult to child ratios for working with children.

(Subject to numbers) ASSISTANTS are assigned to a crew & rotate with the children. Their role is to support the teacher and provide any extra pastoral care the kids require.

Walthamstow currently requires no Assistants.
