All Act Out members of staff have undergone an enhanced DBS Check and hold a current, enhanced DBS Certificate. Our staff are fully insured and our First Aiders have taken 12-hour Paediatric Health & Safety Course (as per OFSTED & EYFS Requirements). Safeguarding Leads have completed Safeguarding Children (Advanced) Level 2.

Rosie Ward

Rosie trained in Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She work as a professional actor in a range of projects from Shakespeare to musical theatre. She is the director & founder of East London Shakespeare Festival.

She loves working with young people, and as well as teaching at Act Out, she facilitates pre-school music & movement classes for Movers and Shakers, and runs an educational theatre company, UpFront Theatre Company.

Flossie trained at Mounview Academy of Theatre Arts and Arts Educational schools London in Musical Theatre performance.

 

Flossie has been teaching for over 10 years and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers. She loves seeing children of all ages grow in confidence and social skills through their drama classes. Flossie loves to dance and has a special interest in physical theatre which she focused her MA dissertation on the works of Frantic Assembly and DV8 and creating physical theatre.

Kate Coulson

Drama Teacher - Tue After-school

First Aider

Kate is an actor, writer and performing arts teacher. She trained at Drama Studio London and National Youth Theatre, as well as having dance coaching throughout her teens. She is an experienced dance, drama and LAMDA teacher, working with children and teenagers at multiple performing arts schools across London and Hertfordshire. She is passionate about helping young people to find their voices, experiment with different ideas, and have some fun!

 

 

 

Georgie Rodgers

Singing Teacher - Tue After-school

Georgie is an actor and writer from London. She trained at Drama Studio London and has been working in the industry for four years. Recently, she's been nominated for awards for her roles in horror movie Groupchat and musical comedy The Lady or The Tiger at the Tabard Theatre. Georgie is passionate about working with children and young people and loves the creativity and collaboration of her students in Act Out singing lessons. She also works as a private tutor in Drama, Singing, English, History and Maths.

Isabella Vaughan

Bella is currently LAMDA teacher and regularly runs Holiday workshops.

 

Bella has been teaching at Act Out since 2016! Her favourite part of the job is seeing students grow in confidence and seeing their passion for theatre develop.

 

As a professional actor, Bella has worked across T.V and theatre, with credits including 'The 39 Steps' (West End), 'EastEnders' (BBC) and her own short play, 'Funny Do' at The Lyric Hammersmith.

Registration, Admin and The Kitchen staff are fully trained, holds a Food Hygiene Certificate and DBS Check.

 

We comply with NSPCC's Recommended adult to child ratios for working with children.

 

(Subject to numbers) ASSISTANTS are assigned to a crew & rotate with the children. Their role is to support the teacher and provide any extra pastoral care the kids require.
