All Act Out members of staff have undergone an enhanced DBS Check and hold a current, enhanced DBS Certificate. Our staff are fully insured and our Health and Safety & Safeguarding Leads have taken 12-hour Paediatric Health & Safety Course (as per OFSTED & EYFS Requirements).

Rosie trained in Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She work as a professional actor in a range of projects from Shakespeare to musical theatre. She is the director & founder of East London Shakespeare Festival.

She loves working with young people, and as well as teaching at Act Out, she facilitates pre-school music & movement classes for Movers and Shakers, and runs an educational theatre company, UpFront Theatre Company.

Patrick Rufey

Singing Teacher - After-school

Patrick trained at Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

He works as a professional Musical Director, & credits include NewsRevue (Canal Café Theatre) Jack & The Beanstalk (The Buxton Opera House), Charming Dick (The Cockpit Theatre, London) Patrick is also a composer & has written 3 musicals, inc. A Christmas Carol (National Tour/Charing Cross Theatre.)

Meg McCarthy

Dance Teacher - After-school

Meg completed a 3 year BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational School in London.

She has trained in ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz and tap. She has performed at The Union Theatre, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Ye Olde Rose and Crown.

She has a full DBS Check & experience in teaching.

Macadie Amoroso

Wicked Crew Teacher - After-School

Actor, writer, director and poet, and graduate of East 15 Acting School's Acting & Contemporary Theatre course.
Writer of award-winning solo show, Blue Beneath My Skin, which debuted at the Bunker Theatre in August 2019, as part of the This Is Black Festival.
National Youth Theatre member.


Ellie Jackson

Senior Acting Teacher - After-school

Ellie is professional actor and singer, who trained at Bristol

Old Vic and The National Youth Music Theatre.

She has performed at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre, The Vaults Festival and has appeared in Doctors.

She will be teaching Straight Acting, as well as the Singing and Drama sections in Musical Theatre classes

Kluane Saunders


Kluane Saunders is an actor (BA ( First Class Hons) Acting), and a classically trained soprano (BMUS), with extensive training in jazz, and tap dancing as well as movement and physical theatre training.

Kluane is a theatre-maker, a strong team player, deviser and collaborator. She wrote, produced, and starred in 'An Old Fashioned Girl' (Brighton Fringe, Bedfringe, and Clapham Fringe)

Having lived all over the world Kluane is comfortable in a Canadian, American, RP, and Australian accent, and has an excellent ear for new dialects.

Isabella Vaughan

Isabella completed a BA (hons) degree in Acting from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA).Her credits include a 5 month Children's Theatre tour in Italy  to working with a prestigious all-female Shakespeare company. A recent short film she did was featured on Channel 4's Random Acts!

Assistants & Helpers

Registration, Admin and The Kitchen is run by Isabella McGough. Bella is fully trained, holds a Food Hygiene Certificate and DBS Check.

ASSISTANTS are assigned to a crew & rotate with the children. Their role is to support the teacher and provide any extra pastoral care the kids require.
